Permanent Makeup Screening
The following list is comprised of certain conditions that are contraindications for permanent makeup application. Please take the time to thoroughly read and review this list in its entirety to see if you are a candidate for permanent makeup.
Your skin is my canvas and its condition will absolutely affect the results of your permanent makeup procedure.
1.
Pregnant and nursing women are NOT candidates for
permanent makeup application, no exceptions. You will need to wait 6 months after delivery and/or 6 months after nursing.
2.
Sun tanned skin, must be out of the sun for 30 days prior to a
permanent makeup procedure and 30 days after. Long term sun damage could make you ineligible for any permanent makeup procedure. Tan skin is damaged skin. Chrystal is only as good as the canvas she is given to work on.
3.
If you are an insulin dependent
diabetic you do not qualify for permanentmakeup. Type II
diabetics require a physician's note clearing you for a permanent makeup
procedure.
4.
If you have mitral valve prolapse, you are not a candidate for permanent
makeup.
5.
If you are required to be on a prophylactic
antibiotic, you will need a letter of approval from your physician.
6.
If you have a thyroid condition, and are
prescribed thyroid medication, you may require multiple sessions to obtain the desired result.
7.
If you have extremely dry or flaky skin, you will need to see a dermatologist to get your skin in better condition before any permanent makeup application.
8.
You must be off Accutane for one year prior to a permanent makeup application.
9.
No chemical peels for 60 days prior to or 60 days following a
permanent makeup procedure. Avoiding the forehead entirely is recommended. If you do frequently obtain lasers and peels, your permanent makeup WILL fade due to chemicals that are used in those procedures tend to travel under the skin.
10.
No oil based products, such as eye makeup remover or oils directly on the eyebrow area or eyes for thirty days before a
permanent makeup
procedure. It is recommended to use oil-free remover.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS MUST BE COMPLETELY REMOVED 2 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR EYELINER APPOINTMENT! They can be reapplied after your eyeliner is complete.
11.
The use of eyelash growth products like Latisse are to be discontinued for at least three months before permanent
makeup is applied. Please let Chrystal know if you have had any usage of any eyelash growth products at all. This may require a consultation.
12.
Keloid formation will need to be evaluated for eligibility.
13.
If you have lupus you, you are not a candidate for permanent makeup.
14.
If you are prescribed Warfarin you are not eligible for
permanent makeup.
15.
If you have had shingles at anytime on your face you are not eligible for permanent makeup.
16.
If you have any blood clotting disorder, you are not eligible for permanent makeup.
17.
You must wait three months after a botox treatment before getting the eyebrow service.
18.
You must be off of any chemotherapy
treatment for one year.
